FontanaTech was founded by James Stewart while serving as the Director of Information Services for a large multi-national trade association.  The constant need for skilled technical consultants at reasonable rates drove the formation of FontanaTech. 

When managing technology, James felt it was unjust to pay consultants upwards of $175.00 an hour to "learn" how to solve a problem when at that rate they should "know" how to solve the problem.  It was not uncommon to pay those rates for basic admin level support and sensing other organizations were in similar situations, FontanaTech came to be. 

FontanaTech operates on the premise that the customer should not have to pay for our education.  If we don't know how to solve your problem we will tell you and make an appropriate recommendation.  Our experience spans the entire spectrum of technology from managing telephone systems, PBX, VoIP, Servers, Desktops, Mobile devices, printers, firewalls, switches, and internet connections.  Our hands-on experience is deep on all technical aspects of nonprofit and association management.
